    Protek HD Box.. Any advice..?

Hi, My half price deal with S*Y runs out in September...! I have been looking at the Protek HD SAT BOX with "Gift" and was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on what specific bits of kit i would need to get up and running. Can these be used with a fixed dish etc. Thanks in advance.

you can pick up majority of protek main channels with a fixed 60cm dish with mono block but to get the most of your hd box you would have to go motorised...... what you could do is have a 80-90 cm dish with mono block to start with then you could always decide to put a motor on it in the future.....BJ1

majority of channels are on other sats so a fixed dish would be a bit of a loss.

internet fed all the time, every now and again a pop up will say
update available etc and you need it plugged in to view the channels.box usually comes as plug and play, hmm cant remember if usb or null modem to flash ,older one were cable
            and newer may be usb.
