hi got new tv with built in free sat got old sky dish on wall with cable intolounge but been told i cant use it its a single lnb can any one advise me on what i need to buy to connect ie what lnb and cable thank you mike

your new tv has freeview built in not freesat mate, they are different you dont need a dish with freeview it's terestrial channels that you get thought your tv aerial, for freesat you need a set top box that connects
to the dish pointing at astra2 @ 28e and then you will get these chnsthis service is said to be having 80 free to air HD channels upto know there's only three bbc itv4 and itv3. and itv3 is not open very much yet

freesat is only available from astra 28e with a dish
and a freesat or sat receiver mate. a tv cant pick satellite up.
i have a panasonic viera plasma and it's freeview that is built in
and if your tv is HD you connect the sat box with a hdmi cable
to the tv you dont need a scart lead
