Going to buy a sat help needed

Hi all, I was supposed to get a motorised sat installed tonight but the sat guy could not come, so I have decided to leave it for now and get my own stuff then ask him to come back and fit.

This is we're you guys come into play, I need some advice and assistance.

I'm getting the following and want some advice, I don't want any crap and don't mind paying for the good stuff so what would you recommend.

    2m heavy duty pole
    A and k bracket
    V bolts
1m dish to get me 28.2e, hot bird and viasat
    Twin lnb
    Cable
    Motor for dish

    Have I missed anything out.

What would you all recommend for these items

I have a star view hd combo to get me going so I don't need a box. I will get one in the future.

So can I have some help please

    Thanks

A set of galvanised T&K brackets.
    1m Gibertini dish (2nd choice 110m Triax).
    Inverto Black Ultra LNB.
    Scaffold pole (cut to size).
    Technomate 2600 Super motor.

    Don't forget the cable connectors.

The above is what I have and I'm very pleased with it. Hope this helps.

hi thanks for info, i have a question and it may seam stupid but hey who cares.

i want to use twin cable for dual tuners box with a motorised dish.

so i am looking at the technomate 2600 motor and been doing some research

apparently the cable runs from the lnb to the motor then out the motor to the back of your box, this is what powers the motor.

thats sound easy enough, however, how does this work with twin cables and a twin lnb?

twin cable goes into the twin lnb then the technomate 2600 only has one in and one out so how does this work?

if you replace box in future with a twin tuner you need 2 feeds of sat cable, some boxes only have 1 tuner so use 1 cable.usually sat box sends the current to the motor through the cables.thats why maybe getting a quad lnb you have spares if you decide to add to it.

          i am still unclear.

          twin lnb has two feeds

diseqc motor has one in one out

twin cable from a twin lnb runs to diseqc motor then on to the box.

diseqc motors only have one i and one out so how do you connect from the twin lnb in a motorised set up

am i being a real noob here?

one feed to motor then to input 1 of box
second feed runs straight to input 2 of box...BJ1
