    please help, starview hd combo sat side

    i just had a satelite enginner come out and install my technomate motorised dish with tm2600 motor.

    this dish is configured perfect as he showed me with a technomate box

    all the free to air channels on the satelite 28.2 and many otheres.

    the problem is when i connect my starview hd combo it all goes tits up and not getting hardly any channels even on 28.2

    does anyone have a set up similar that can assist me.

    i have installed the latest firmware:

    Install Carling+_F531_1207.UAD


    and the channel update dump from downloads

    but i cannot get basic channels free to air

    what is the set up in the system menus for motorised dish and scanning

    need some help please

      did u install the channel dumpfor motor only

              nah never bothered in the end, i dont thinkthe starview works very well with technoamte 2600 motor

              but i am up and running on the sat side after bricking my starview, it took my 5 hours to fix it and trawl through the internet for a fix

              the brickfix never worked i thought it was gone

              then i found some obscure web page were some fella had the same problem.

              he jtaged it. there are two small pins when you open the box up that have to be touched when turning the power on to put it into menu as long as the wire is touching

              i have the red light only of death

              anyway i made diy jtag with a printer cable and it worked

              mani had a long night

              anyway i think im going to get a technomate

              as i have a tm dish, motor and high grade 0.1db twin lnb so i may as well go the whole hog

                  hi mate my staview hd combo + went dead only the optical light is shown on the back ..can you post the schematics for the jtag please?
