Internet cutting out when phone rings (BT)

i have bt internet through asdl.

    my current setup is:

    phone line into asdl filter
    internet lead into asdl filter

asdl filter into the wall socket

but still when my phone rings, my internet loses connection.

    Has anyone came across this?

you need to reduce the number of phone sockets in your house and make sure you use filter in the ones you do use.

only use the filters on you phones, dont use any on the router

also if the phone is wireless/dect etc then try a diff one, I have seen some makes do this to ADSL lines

Experiencing the same problems. Had BT change all equipment in the house and even at the exchange. Still have the problem after around 3 months.

Have yet another "engineer" coming out tomorrow (later) to see what he thinks. Will let you know what this one says

Do you have a sky box connected to your phone line ?, if so disconnect it, thats what is causing your fault.
