Mobile internet LAN, for STB

How to get mobile internet for your STB in vacation (e.g. if you have a camper)? Nothing more simple; all you need is an Android 2.2 mobile phone (with 3D subscription) and a budget router able to run dd-WRT firmware. The traffic cost will be about 1Mb per hour (if is not a server!). If is someone interested, I can let you know how; tested in Vodafone and Orange works fine!
(I have scanned all forums 2 weeks for this item prior to my research and I found nothing; nobody had the ideea?)

there are a few threads on using your box over 3g. I managed to get it working on 'three' but 'giffgaff / o2' wouldn't work.
