    Newbie Sat set-up in Liverpool

    Hi All !

    I've finally had enough of SV and want to move to Sat. Can anyone recommend suppliers in Liverpool, who can set this up, as I havent a clue where to start !

    I didn't have a clue a few months ago. It's defiantly worth learning. It's easy once you read up a bit

      Just need to find somewhere who can arrange installation for me, as I've never had a dish before.

        hi, try contacting irishbluestaffy on here, he is from liverpool he may be able to help you.

        if you are a blue nose i wouldnt bother him!! ha ha

          Ha Ha ! Thanks, I will .. and no, Im not a bluenose or a rednose either - dont really follow football - shameful as that is, coming from a scouser ! ha ha !

            you need a dish m8 get a sly installer to throw up one 20 quid , get a box i recommend a dreambox 500s YaoXin Electronic CO.,LTD from here or any similar site then google cardshare for a sub some servers sell box and present all in one good luck

              i have had a dish on the roof for a good many years now..
              wife just bought a second hand sly+hd box for ?15 and after connecting it all together i have the freeviewe sort of channels..
              QUESTION..
              can these boxes be used for the card share option that i have heard so much about??
              if so were and how do you approach somebody to obtain one??

                Proprietary Sly STBs cannot be used for CS. Any other questions referring to such would be better answered on CS related forums, thanks.
