    Any suggestions?

Hiya, I had my sat dish pointing st 16e for dig Albania
Everything was fine until the dish got moved.
    Spiderbox 500sd
No I have lost my signal
I have been trying to find signal again.

I find a 80/95 signal check channel and it says no signal or scrambled.

I have tried different transponders but keep being fooled by a very strong signal that does not catch the channels now.

Do i need to delete all channels and rescan on this 80/95 signal?

I managed to get some channels back at one point but not all of them like before it was knocked out of place?

Really confused any help much appreciated?

The problem as you have found out is there are strong sats at 19.2 and 13. The only way I would use is a Sat meter.
You could eventually do it on a prog, but it is time consuming.
I certainly would not do a scan. If this box has some sort of signal meter, you could use that, but it is very hard work without a decent sat meter.

I set it up the first time without a signal meter, but yes each scan finds a lot of unwanted channels.

totally agree with Alec, sounds like your on 19 or 13

can you set the tv and box up in view of the dish that way you go in the sat menu and tweak the dish back onto 16, a cheap metre is less than a ?5

use "sic international" on 12.736 V 3703 to re-align your dish.its a strong FTA channel on 16E.a cheap sat meter wont tell you what sat your on.

                Thank you all.

On the satellite search, do i need and transponder info input? the satellite is set on ew2 16 and the rest is empty.

On the manual search i have tried the frequencies 11055v etc

And i need to focus on the space between the two very strong signals. 16 is between there somewhere

I am forunate to be able to view tv screen while moving dish.

If i had a motor would it automatically find 16e?

Yeah If you had a motor on usals and selected 16East it would turn to it on its own

                  Regards.

yes you do if you enter the transponder info I posted with 16E as your sat then adjust the dish to get the "S" & "Q" bars at the bottom as high as you can before scanning (I"d clear out all the unwanted channels 1st),its no good scanning unless you have a signal.(neither 19E or 13E are using that TP so it should avoid confusion) if you already have this channel scanned in from before your dish moved simply choose it from your channel list>ok and press the info button twice you can then use the signal meter at the bottom of the screen to align your dish.the screen shot I"v sent is an old one "SIC" is now fta but it will give you an idea of what to look for.(you can of course use this way for any other channel of your choice)

What I can't understand is you have found the Sat before, and you have already have the programs scanned on that Sat, what you need to do fine tune the dish on one of these programs. What is the point of a rescan, when you don't what you are pointed at?

Well, they were showing a good signal but nothing would happen on the installed channels. So i tried to re-scan hoping it would fix this.
Was tired of the good signal but not showing channel, even fta.
Was weird almost like a glitch.
