Hi, can anyone advise me if there is a way around not plugging your sly+boxes into the phone sockets so SLY do not know? Also if you do have them both plugged in, will they know if one of the boxes does not have a white card in it?

If your out with your warranty period, phone them up and tell them your having problems trying to book a film. They will then go through trouble shooting with you to get it to work, and most likely come to the conclusion that the modem is broke.
They wont fix it and you wont pay for it, but they will put a note on the account that its broke.
So if the box aint connected it would give you something to argue over if they tried to hit you with the full cost for the multi room card.
You should get a letter to say before they would charge you.
