    motorised satellite set up - how many sats can I pickup

    at the moment got a 60cm pointing to Hellas - thinking of replacing with 1m motorised setup

    question is what range of satellites can I pick up - therefore can go to dishpointer and check line of sight to see if nothing is going to block any satellites.

      Depends on what your after.

      You will get all the decent ones like 13 Hotbird Sky Italia,19.2 Astra Germany,Hispasat 30 west,Eutelsat 16 East,Eurobird 9 East,Eutalsat 7 and 9 East Sirius 4.8 East,Astra 23.5 East,Thor 1 West think theres a few random ones in there but thats the best of them.
      Hotbird 13 my fave out of the foriegn sats.
      Thats on the bigger dish not the 60cm.
