Hi all i have had a one meter dish put up and i cant get no west channels picked up most east but no west so its back up the ladder just wondering what west sats i could pick up

Have a look here regarding dish size and what you should get .....
ITgate TGM220 (swapable tuner), Dreambox 800 pro, Dreambox 500c x 2, DBox, Popbox media player. -
Western Satellites
With a I metre dish you should pick up Thor @ 1 west, Atlantic bird 3 @ 5 west, Atlantic bird 2 @ 8 west, Atlantic Bird 1 @ 12.5 west, Telstar 12 @ 15 west, Intelsat 901 @ 18 west, NSS7 @ 22 west, Intelsat 905 @ 24.5 west, Intelsat 907 @ 27.5 west and Hispasat @ 30 west.
All of these satellites should deliver a picture on a 80 cm dish in the north and 70 cm in the south UK. Could be that motor arc is incorrect and needs fine tuning ~ get your installer back to correct this and look at my diseqc motor setup tut in the downloads-Categories-Satellite section of DK.
