    Signal strength from different satellites

I have a 1.8M dish that took a beating in storms in May and I have just gone around to repairing it.I am picking up all satellies from 13E to 0.8W
without any problem and have increased the signal strength on Thor(Al Jaz) from 67% to 95%SNR by adjusting the up/down on dish. However,on Hotbird the increase is only 7/8% to 55%.I expected it to be at least 90%(al Jazz News Channel as well).Does the dish require more adjusting or is hotbird weaker signal ?Thanks in advance.
BTW location is NW Ireland and LNB has been changed from Ivacom(0.3) to an old MTI(0.6db)

Your signal should be better on that sat. You could prove this yourself by adjusting the dish on this sat. If the elevation improves, then your arc is not 100 percent correct.
