    dm500 and talk/talk router

    my m8 just got his new router and laptop working fine the problem is when he connects his dm500 up only the fta channels clear box has a ip address and dhcp is enabled when i try box in my place on virgin all ok anybody had the same problem and can shed some lite on it

    have you tried to actually see if its connecting to the internet by downloading something through the downloads menu?? Is the ip addy of box something similar to that of the router?

      it shows ip add ok i havnt tried downloading from menu

            Hmmm, Could be a blocked port connection that you need to open up via the router, Go to you CCcam.cfg file and change the port, Also try rebooting the router, Make sure all wires are firmly connected and reboot both box and router.

                How it connected to network? If dhcp is enabled it should grab it's own I,P from router,
                You need to try what poster above says and see if it's capable of downloading from blue panel,
                Don't go changing configs if it works elsewhere
