quick question old sky dish

gonna take the plunge and get a dreambox 500,

just a quick question...

is it ok to use my old sky sat dish? i understand a motorised one will get me lots more channels but ill be happy with just sky UK, so as its already pointing to astra 28.2 is this ok to reuse?

and with regards to card sharing, are there any sites/servers recommended to use as there seems to be loads on the net and they cant all be trustworthy?

Sky Dish works well with a Blade 7000 aswell

a dm 500s is only a sd not hd box if you have a hd tv.

would there be anything else i need?

tv area has all old sat feed cables plus dsl line so should be straight forward

ok so is the dreambox the best bet for a newbie? i dont want to spend that much for a starter

also, i currently have a pc running xbmc, are there any boxes that can also stream movies from an external usb drive as well?

gonna buy a dreambox 500 now off fleabay as they are only ?50 to get me started

can someone let me know where the how to/set up guides are to set up sky uk channels and all i need to get cracking so i can read through ready for when it comes
