firstly check you cable and connections, if they are ok then could be a alignment issue. regards mdt

if it was off would the signal drop down on the scale to check or did they leave their lnb connection loose.

          Could be the bad weather.

Does it do this when the sky is clear and no heavy rain??

If 1 room is ok other is glitchy then that points towards either cabling or the box to me

Ok could be 1 of 3 things 1 being the trees. Check that the connection is of at the back of your reciever unscrew the connector make sure the connector is on the cable ok this should be screwed on now connect back to the reciever and screw on hand tight not with a spanner, check this and see if it has made any difference. The 3rd thing is the LNB on the dish which is weakening the signal. If this persists phone sky up they will send an engineer out to sort the problem if they try to charge you say no you are the customer and they are not providing the service you pay for, this is not a technical problem this is a signal problem. Threaten them with cancelling your subscription they will soon send someone out to fix the proble.

Swap your HDMI's cables around with the other box, see if the problem follows the cable...

I had my first ever faulty HDMI cable yesterday, problem was doing my nut in as for hours I was checking everything else but the hdmi cable, it too was fairly new one.. When I finally realised I was like "well, burger me, faulty HDMI cable"
