help please - VU+ Motorised - does my dish need realigning?

Hi,

I have vix 2.2 and a VU duo. I have a motorised dish on one tuner and a fixed sky dish on the other. Yesterday I stopped being able to tune into non 28.2e channels, when I try the flashing satellite image just keeps flashing (this flasheds when the dish is moving normally).

I checked the dish and it looks ok and is moving about to different satellites. My problem may be that the dish needs realigning however I would have thought if this were the case the flashing satellite would stop and it would say something like tune failed.

I want to do all I can before getting someone to realign the dish (or trying to myself) because I don't think this is the problem but I'm not sure what else it can be. Any suggestions welcome!

try sending the motor to zero and then re-entering your lat/long details. regards mdt

If after moving dish off Astra and returning and it can tune ok.
I would check the cable connections, if you unable to tune into other Sat's
