bm7000s signal strength

Installed a bm7000s yesterday on a zone 1 sky dish

when moving the dish hit 71% on first transponder so stored the dish and done a blind scan

however some transponders are like 45-60% but the meter stays green in the top right corner, is this ok? Would this affect any glitching? While I installed it it was fine flicking through the channels etc.

This morning tho there has been glitching could it bethe dish? or more than likely the cs server?

Its fine mate, Every box level of snr varies.

For emaple the same tp on my 500 gets 94% on my 800 its gets 100%

but on my old blade it got 82%

different transponders have different strengths so its always best to try high/low and h/v when aligning a dish to peak the signal. 45% sq is a little low and fine tuning your dish could get a higher reading although different stb,s have different tuner calibrations also. the test will come in heavy rain! regards mdt

i get 98% on all sly using blade 7000. you say using zone 1, are you up north, that could be issue

Hello i just have a sky dish set to 28.2E ASTRA/EUROBIRD
and i get 98% signal 72% quality but when watching a program the blue bar only just shows past a quarter can i adjust the dish signal from the menue or dose it have to be done on the dish
