SKY remote problems

Hi all, newbie here.

Recently bought a SKY remote on ebay as a replacement for my old (original sky digital) remote. Remote appears to have some quirks that my old (original) didn't have (when backup pressed the subtitles/audio description is displayed). Main annoyance however is that whilst viewing a channel pressing the left/right arrows instead of allowing you to cycle forward through the schedule for that channel they just operate the same as the up/down buttons i.e. just show the next channel for current time. Any ideas

Additional info - 'backup' doesn't work - in fact operates same as original 'help'
- 'i' (info) doesn't work
- pressing 'text' just enters '0' s

sounds like a knackered remote mate. after experiencing ebay returns, i would put it down to bad expereince and buy one from a shop.

Sounds like a poorly executed copy of the original. Thats fleabay for ya!
