Protek 9750 network setup

Hi

I bought a Protek 9750 receiver yesterday after my Techmate TM5400 died and am really pleased with it apart from the fact that I don't seem to be receiving any updates.

I installed the latest software (v3.00.13) and connected it to the router but nothing is happening.

I have assigned a static IP address and can see it as an attached device from the router but still nothing.

Any ideas?

change back from static to auto and just check that your ip address has not changed if it has put that info into static then exit and reboot box...BJ1

If I put it as auto that I can't see it as an attached device on the router, which is why I went down the static route.

Thought I'd already done that but tried it and it worked a treat.

sometimes the ip adress changes but now you have it configured on static it will keep the same address with less dropouts too.....BJ1
