Blade 7000 external hard drive fault

With my external hard drive connected, when I press record it says 'there is no storage device for record' any ideas why this is? Thanks

You need the hard drive to be formatted to FAT32. Have you checked this?

      To format use this LinkFormatter.zip

And the downside to formatting to FAT32 is that you can only store file's that are below 4GB.

sometimes you have to switch the box off and turn it back on for it to pick the hard drive up

Any idea of the blade can/will suport NTFS in time to come. 4GB doesn't cut.
