Blade 7000 Combo

i have just got one fully working with all sat chanels, but the manuel seems to be for the old type 7000's, mine has the extra tuner 2 input but without having the updated manuel i am not sure if it is for cable ot terestrial
i still have my virgin V+ HD Box working as i have not canceled it yet, would i be able to plug my cable lead in it, and will i only get the free chanels even though i have them all on the SAT side

you will only get the fta channels,you could check what it says in the other tuner before plugging in a cable,if it mentions ntl etc its a cable tuner.

Cheers Mate i set it up with my virgin cable and got no signal so i pluged my Arial lead in and i got a update so it is Terestial not cable - dooing a scan now but not picking much up i will try again later

tried it again after i downloaded a new manuel and read it
then i realised that i had to set it to tuner 2, no signal from the TV lead so it must be cable but not bothered as i have the sat chanels

i want to fit a Hard Drive but i think that i have the old firmware without the 7 Day EPG

but seeing as i bought the box already set up i am afraid that i might loose all my chanels if i attempt to do it, as i am new to satalite i was using a starview cable S4 for years and all this talk about clines and bouckets and the like mean nothing to me

any help would be greatfully appreciated, i have been trying to take in all the info that i can but it is just going over my head
