I could use something like the Skystar HD 2, but would need a card? Which one and would I need a programmer, if so which?

I could use the satellite dish, I have from an Old subscription, without moving it? But as its an old one I wouldnt be able to record.
If I wanted to get Astra, I would have to move it and possibly get a bigger dish? Or if I wanted to record.
I would also need a receiver which vary from ?50 upwards depending on if I wanted SD, HD and PVR?
If thats right then the only thing I think I aint so sure about is lnb's and I assume depending which box I use depends if I use ccam or not.
