Blade 7000HD 7 day EPG

hi everytime i put it on this channel and leave it for a couple of mins the box stops working and a 0 or 8 appears on front of the box and just stays like that.

What do them numbers mean? and if its downloading the epg why does it take so long, i got told it would only be around 5 mins max, also when these numbers appear i cannot change channels or do anything, i have to switch the box off to sort it out

in the past i use to leave it on the epg channel and them numbers didn't appear after a few mins i use to change channel n carry on watching

ok have u done a software up gread if reboot then go to epg press ok and wait it should b ok if not le me no and i sort it for u

by software upgrade do you mean firmware upgrade? i have done that im using the patched beta version from september

i have the Blade Combo i bought already set up but i have not yet fitted a Hard Drive but on terestial chanels i get a 7 day EPG but on sly chanels i only get what is next so that must be that my firmware has the 7 day EPG it is

Model = BM7000Combo
S/W Version = June 22 201164*
H/W Version = 1.00
Boot Version = 5.10
CH Version = F014

i think you need to have a hard drive as it the 7 day epg is meant to save the epg on your hard drive. However i don't know how this works as i have a hard drive and no epg is being saved to it.

Mine used to not save epg until I used the very latest patched firmware, now the epg gets loaded from the hard drive after switching box to standby.... one thing to note is dont be too hasty going to the epg after coming out of standby as my epg screen froze with incomplete data until it completed the loading (circa 10 -15 seconds).

the epg has now saved itself to my hard drive, god knows how it did it. I checked my hard drive and only the programmes i had saved were on it, then i checked it laer on and epg had appeared to be saved on it aswell.

One issue i have is that some channels don't still have a full 7 day epg, but oh well with every firmware things are improving

Does anyones SKY 3D have 7 day epg?
Mine only shows now and next :@
Sometimes my ITV HD also doesnt show the full epg
