    Motorised sky dish

    Hi there all. I have a spare sky dish and a spare technomate motor that im looking to erect but the problem im having is that the motor arm is to big to fit through the dish bracket at the back is there anything i can add so that it will fit?? don,t want to get another dish this is only for experimenting with. many thanks for any replys.

    Can you zero the skew on the sky dish lnb? If its a fixed skew lnb then it really aint never gonna work proper on a motor even if you do manage to mount it...

      Its a movable lnb 1 to 5 skew and i know it can be done as have read before im just looking to know what extra i need to fit at the back of the sky dish that will allow me to mount it on the motor arm which is to wide in circumference.

        motors are for pole mount dishes with 2 inch fitting there was a manhattan motor a few years ago which had a smaller mount but dont know if its still made ,you will be farting again thunder trying to motorise a sky dish ,you can get a 60cm polemount dish for ?20 but an 80 cm would be best to buy
