Personally i wouldnt take a chance with Sky Broadband.
If you google enough you will find out people have been caught, mainly sharing their own card but still not worth taking the risk.
The freezing will be his server and not the broadband company so would glitch with Virgin.

                  1mb or less is plenty

Up to you what you want to do with the rest of the bandwidth. With CS it is more important that you have no latency problems.

And as Aftermath said best keep CS talk to a minimum here, thanks.

I am with Virgin and it would take a lot for me to leave them!
High speed, low latency and very little disruption to service.
                      Don't mind paying for quality!

Yep same here I'm on Virgin's 30MB service and have not had any issues at all, I was on there 20mb service and it was rock solid.

So Virgin in my opinion is the Best Broadband the UK has.

Virgin is the fastest and its extremely stable.

The only problem is when there is a problem, but I think ive had 2 problems in all the years ive been with them.

Even when theres a problem with Virgin i just complain not with the Indian call centre staff because lets face it they know jack all, but i ring the department wanting to disconnect my service because of the faults just act all peed off n they give you you a couple of months free service

ANother reason Virgin is good is because you can get Broadband without having to get TV or a Phone line
