Hi,

I am just about to take delivery of the Protek 9750hd and read that some may need flashing prior to connecting to the router for the auto updates.

How do I know if the unit requires flashing...is there a version number somewhere?

firstly introduce yourself in the introduction thread and then take a look in this section a couple of pages back for a thread entitled "unique id for protek 9750 is it in the box?" and you will find instructions on how to patch your box, the sw you need and help on how to see which packages there are. welcome to dk, regards mdt
