Newbie - Kit advice please for motorised setup

    So, new to all this..

Looking for the most cost-effective setup to achieve the below.. You can see the price bracket i'm in from the kit I've shortlisted..

Looking to pick up all hotbird's, (which I'm lead to believe is achievable from an 80cm dish) as well as Astra 4A at 4.8?E, which I've been told needs a bit of a meatier setup.

When googling there's always the same brands / models mentioned time and time again; so guessing the below are the ones to choose from?

Ideally just need someone to confirm whether the below is OK, and which options they'd choose (or add any others on)

Dish will be wall-mounted on exterior of my house. Aprox 12ft off the ground.

    Dish
    a) Triax 110
    b) Gibertini 100

    Motor
    a) TM 2600
    b) Super Dark Motor

    LNB
    a) Invacom SNH-031
    b) Inverto Black Ultra

    Reciever
    a) Dreambox 500HD
    b) Dreambox 800HD
    c) Dreambox 800HD se

    Wallmounts
    - not a clue, hoping someone could advise a decent one?

    Many thanks, in anticipation..

ok, this is your lucky day, get

traix 110 = perfect, easy to fit
super dark motor = very good, dont bother with that led jobbie
lnb = black ultra but get a quad
receiver = get a spidebox9000hd unless you know a lot about deamboxes

a wall mount is usually a pole with t&k brackets, use u tube

    you dont say your lcoation
    ok

I bet you get a different list from everyone.
      heres mine
      dish>Gibertini
      motor> TM2300 (cheap but good)
Lnb>any universal will do the job (I"m on an invacom snh-031 and its fine)
reciever>youll have to make your own mind up on that.
mount>use a pair of T&Ks with a 2ft piece of scaffold tube between them(see pic of 85cm gibertini).
I take it you are after the nordic beam on 4a and that could depend where you live how well you get that I get the FTA channels on 11.919H,11.996H,11.843H & 11.900V ok on a 1mt televes dish near Hull.

Spiderbox - interesting - will check this out!

I'm from Northamptonshire - if that helps?

Something I've always wondered - the motorised system; how does it work exactly? Do you have to configure each sat that you want to point it to, or, do you configure 1 sat, then it'll work out where the other sats are in relation to it?

diseqc 1.2 >find each sat by trial and error and store the location once done you can return to any sat you have stored .
usals >find 1 sat and the rest are found automatically, but you must have your location long/lat stored in your box so it can work out mathmatically where to send the dish.

Also keep in mind to use USALS effectively your pole mount needs to be 'perfectly' horizontal, preferably on a south-facing wall. While I say perfectly, you do have a little margin for error but keep in mind the plumbness of your pole affects what sats you get. If it's just a little off, you should still get most but might struggle on the fringe sats.
