cable or satelite which is easiest ??

morning all,

my friend would like a box for his mum and he is wondering if a cable box as she has subscribed once to cable or a satalite box would be easier to get her up and running.. it would be nice if she could recieve those extra channels (wink wink) . but as he is a complete noob and i have a little more intelegience then its up to me to sort it out.

so if some one could suggest which would be the easiest for me to sort for him/her i would be most grateful

good box to start is a dreambox 500 or dm500s as they call it if you want extra channels you need to look up cardsharing on google as thats not aloud on this forum

i have found and so have a lot of people blade7000 is a very good box very easy to set up only one thing at moment not good on it is the epg which has been work on and is getting better my cable box seem to be one of the best place to buy it for help as well as money and relible service

Cable is easiest as Plug & Play boxes are available but as has been mentioned, the servers are not always 100%.

Satellite wise, the Blade7000/Technomate TM5402HDCI are virtually identical and easier to setup than the Linux boxes.

epg is poor but is been worked on and getting better.
