    Terratec HD USB terrestrial tuner

I am looking at using one of these to watch saorview (Irish freeview) on a Clarke Tech 9100? can anyone confirm if this is possible and what the quality would be like?

it does not mention mpeg4 or mheg5 which saorview use, and that dongle may only be mpeg2 for uk.

not found one yet that does mpeg4 as thats only for irl, when uk or europe change to mpeg 4 they will be readily available.
there may have been a few posts saying they had them working, maybe on a dm?

Just sat down to watch the Ireland match on RTE 2HD on Saorview via the above setup. Great picture but twice during the game the picture glitched similar to a c/s glitch. What could be the cause of this?

get that on my saorview box also at times, usually with my indoor aerials, but i have heard that they are still tinkering with service issues.

Yes, another forum shows that the glitches were seen all over the country
