Is it under contract? If not you could try reloading the firmware from the pc if thats possible..

Read the Rules here; they apply to Everyone.

ok, this is wat u do..... read the guide through BEFORE u do it ok?

        turn on tv. NOT SKY

turn off sky box at plug

        count to 10

hold down BACKUP on THE BOX not the remote.

WHILST HOLDING IN THE BACKUP BUTTON turn the plug for sky back on.

keep it held in, then the tv screen should change (if u have it on scart it should, if on co-ax then you'll need to set your tv to the sky channel first)

basically a black screen with white writing telling you that it is downloading update!

it'll take 10-15 mins depending on how big the update is (downloading via dish!)

once done the box will restart itself and you can see if your interactive stuff is back...(took from another forum worked for a friend of mines ,no harm in trying.)

I gave that a go but red light just kept flickering,a couple of times it momentarily via scart tried to switch tv over onto satellite channel. Thinking that it may be the PSU and getting one of them repair kits where you change all the capacitors (?12 ebay). Anyone tried doing that that worked with similar problem.
