Starview 800

Guys does anyone know anything about the Starview 800 HD satellite receiver ?

I have just got one brand new for next to nothing and plugged it in this morning. It looks OK and I can connect it to my internet. Only thing I can't do aything with it because it looks like its a closed software box.

Does anyone know of any software patch for it or hidden menu ?

Thanks mate, I found that before I posted for help.

Does it conatin a hidden menu for newcamd/CCcam because if it does I can't find it.

In fact that software is no different than the official one I had on.

did you manage to get it to work? i am also trying to connect via the internet with the 800HD box. Beginning to wonder buying this box was a waste. I just cant seem to get any goodness out of it!!
