only prob i have with it is that although it says you can record 2 channels at once whilst watching a 3rd they have to all be on the same transponder which is hardly likely, better off getting a twin tuner but apart from that its a good box. EPG is improving with every new firmware release

that statement is true for any single tuner box not just the blade , it always has to be a channel on the same transponder as you only have one tuner and it can only lock onto one transponder at a time

separate twin tuners are a must if you wish completely independent recording from what is being watched , or for recording 2 different channels

that is why sly plus has a quad lnb , twin tuners and a shotgun cable feeding it

Thanks for the posts, I've had this box since Saturday and can't fault it' It's much easier than dreambox to setup superb picture and user friendly menus only flaw is the tv guide could be improved not always updated but usable just want a good c/s server now which we cant discuss.

epg works fine if you go to the 11778v 27500 transponder channels first , then update the epg , I use portal video 5 channels for this
