dont think you worded that correctly , so lets clarify

setanta is not part of uk sky but eire sky , so it all comes from the same set of satellites at 28 east BUT the entitlements are different on the cards , and eire has their own versions of some channels too

so the common factor is the satellite location at 28 east , and the fact that sky issue separate subs based on your postcode

fox news is on there but encrypted

there are dozens and dozens more channels on satellite than cable - period !

yes you pay more on your bill , subject to your postcode , which basically means you cannot have setanta if you are in the uk as its an ROI channel , which they pay for

you can get freesat using just a box and sly dish

or with the sky freesat card it gets about 8 to 10 free to view channels ( the card is chargeable with a one off fee )

any subscription channels you subscribe for , the more you want the more you pay

          so only freesat is free
