    Spiderbox 9000 Combo for Beginner

    Hi guys

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to Sats and Linux, I haven't got the slightest clue when it comes to Vu/Dream boxes.

Do you think a Spiderbox is a good introduction, I've seen this 9000 Combo which has Terrestial aswell so the missus can watch the normal UK stuff on freeview and then use a motorised for the Footy, Films etc.

What do you guys think, I have bought a Vu Duo and i'm lost with it so can't see it staying as i'm not confident with it (can't even get a HDD going in it)

spiderboxes have had their problems but at the moment they are good,I"ve got the 7000HD and with the ethernet connection and keys I can open over 300 stable channels.these are easy boxes to setup and update.I never record so cant comment on that.

vu+ are specialist boxes and not for beginners

spiderboxes can be got up and running in 10 to 15 minutes and have their own gift in the patch to get you started with extra channels on various satellites

I wouldnt be without my spiderbox even though I have a dreambox , and the dreambox is harder to get your head around , just like your vu+

you wont regret buying a spiderbox , you can be assured of that , and the freeview is a bonus
