    thomson skybo question?

hi can anybody tell why i need two cables going in to lnb in, and lnb out? i tryed to get it work with just one cable going into lnb in, and it worked fine, but when it went into standby, i hade to change the cable into lnb out" to get to work, i moved the box from one room to another, it had two cables on it before i moved it , but i have only one cable in the new room its in now. why are there two cables going into it from the dish lnb? thanks ranger,,

sky boxes dont have an lnb out

sounds to me like you have a sky plus box which has 2 lnb cables connected to it , so you can watch one channel and record another

single sky boxes have 1 lnb input , and thats all they have

It is possible to go into the engineers menu and choose one input (LNB) and the box will work fine after that, but of course you will only be able to record the channel you are watching.
