what is phantompatch

hello everyone ive got a technomate tm 3000d just downloaded the phantompatch but i still dont really know what it is exactly, does it allow you to watch channels that would be locked? and if thats so what channels would it allow you to watch? thanks in advance to anyone that gives me an insight

With latest softcam, should get the irdeto 2 channels on 39e bulsat package at least.
