Hi. Get a 1 metre dish plus a motor and universal LNB. I get loads of satellites with my motor. Before buying anything always do a bit of research in forums like this one to get some idea of what is suitable for your tastes etc. Regards.

Yes thx bud is why I was asking, I was just thinking of a 60cm as I'm using a sad tiny old thing now, and it's glitching a little, a motorised 1 I'd love but just seems a Little to complicated for me. So if I was gonna get a static 60cm will any one do the job as good as any ?

Hi. It all depends on what you want to watch. With 60cm dish you will be able to pick up satellites like HOTBIRD, ASTRA ,FREESAT. Remember also that what you will be able to watch depends on what type of receiver you have. To be honest putting a motor on a 60cm dish is not that difficult but again it is only worth it if you have a patched receiver. Regards.

          Yes I've seen motorised ones around ?80 on 60cm, I'm using a dm800
But took me days to figure out how to sort the epg out on it I'm so not clued up, really would like 1 but installing it onto brickwork wouldn't be the problem, figuring it out prob drive me insane
Might ask about and see who's got 1 installed and wots wot
          Cheers bud

I would suggest a triax dish of between 80cm and 110 cm , an inverto ultrablack lnb , and a superior or supreme darkmotor

quad lnb,s give you 4 outputs for more than one box or a twin tuner box

there are also twin lnb,s as well , including the invertos

Epg needs refreshed every X amount of days depending on how it's configured; sounds like yours is 24 hours.

The hardest thing about installing a motorised dish is the wall mount. Once you have it nice and vertical, the rest is straight forward.

For a professional installation, your looking at between ?300-?350 with equipment included.

Hi. Dont waste 300 pounds or more to get a motor installed. Believe me installing a motor is not that difficult. i am not familiar with your receiver but check if it has USALS or DISEQC available. A brand new TM2600 motor cost 50 pounds new. Only problem is if you use a 60cm dish you will be restricted to only certain satellites. Best thing to do before buying a motor is to manually move the dish by hand and see how many satellites you are able to pickup from your location. Again you need to know how your receiver works when changing satellites, tuning transponders etc. Like i said installing a motor is not that difficult, you just need time and patience. I have installed more than 50 TM2600 motors in two years and they are all working fine. Regards.
