    taking the plunge

So i've decided the sat route is for but need a bit of help on the setup.
For now im only really interested in sly uk channels.
Ive seen a self installation satellite kit at a reasonable price and I fancy getting the blade bm7000 receiver.
My Question is, what kind of cable do i need for this box?
Do I need the twin cable to be able to record a channel whilst watching another or just normal coax?

if the box has only one tuner you only need 1 feed you will need RG6 or better cable.I"d do a bit more research 1st to make sure you get what you are after.

but you can always run a shotgun cable in case you expand in the future and require 2 feeds not one , or to add a second box for some reason

Cheers. I think the blade will suit my requirements. I've had a good look over the internet to see how to use the box. I live in a mid terrace so would struggle with a few sat signal because of how my house is faceing, I'd prob need a sat at the rear and a sat at the front but i'm only planning on being here around another 12 months so will probably get a better sat system when i move house.
So I should be ok to record off the box whilst watching another channel with just a single rg6 cable?

not using the same box no

single tuner means you are recording what you are watvhing , sometimes with the odd exception if the 2 channels are on the same transponder on the sat box

generally speaking , you will be recording from satellite and watching freeview from your main aerial to your tv itself

            okay, understood.
So to properly do what I was suggesting I'd need a box such as the VU+ duo?
If I got the VU+ duo would the require a twin cable feed?
