    Cheap HD Box

Hi, my DM500s recently broke and I thought it was time to get an HD box.

    I have a budget of ?140.

I saw the Technomate TM-5402 HD going cheap on eBay for ?130
    but does it support CCam?

The box will not be used as a server but only for connecting as a peer.

    Thanks

Blade 7000s, amazing box. Everything works flawlessly, even the HD channels. I literally played with one for about 45mins today and i can not wait to set up my own. You could probably pick one up for ?140-150. I was lucky enough to pick mine up for ?135, mates rates

guys how do you recored with a openbox there is only now and next channel list has to be updated with usb stick some have weak tuners the channel menu is just that you have to go to the actul channel to see whats on which is useless

dm800 is a super box if you are into all of it, and for some its hard work not for the faint hearted but one of the best at what it does which is a lot more than watching tv

the blade is one of the best boxs for what it can do with its simple to use more or less foolproof set up first class picture 7 day epg simple to recored channel list is just updated from the blade online menu streaming from computer is great very good value i dont think the guys that are saying to go for a openbox have tried a blade if you have 140 to spend you wont go wrong with one i have the 3 boxes mentioned here and i would take the blade anytime

I was about to start a new topic and found this, much like the OP I looking to replace a dm500s. Is the blade a linux based box so it will be supported even if the company stop, I like having the choice of images so whihc box would be best for me. I just want basics channels with epg and the all important HD.

                      Thanks

Blade is closed source as is tm5402 which is basically same receiver.
