Just got a 9760, spoilt for choice on what to watch Admittedly only been one day, but there is so much choice and the receiver seems to update itself, so once you're up and running, very little to do but sit back and work your way through the huge channel list!

I looked at other options, but this box seemed to have, and so far does have, everything I wanted and more!

      Hope this helps!

Older proteks now been turned off with a temp 6 months renewal for ?30. But will then basically finish.
Protek have lasted around 5 years and been good boxes.
How long the gift lasts on these new ones are anyones idea.
          Nothing is forever.

Cheers any idea of the release year. If its 2009 say im thinking if the last gift lasted five years i could possibly get another three years if i purchased one. What do you think?Ive been told the team behind them are about the best around.

Please can anyone explain to me what is meant by PVR ready? If I connect an external hard disk via USB, will I be able to watch a film? Does the 9760 have a media player? Thanks for any reply as I never used a reciever as a player.
