    pre loaded blade bm7000s

I got a pre loaded blade from my local sat shop with a year free c/s.
It hasnt got the firmware on it with the 9991 menu, is there any way of getting the details off it so i can update the firmware, for better router compatibility?
    thanks in advance

how much did this box with free year cost? just put the patched firmware on, you wont lose line, thats if it exists.

?300 all in. I don't understand, how do all the channels work if there is no line installed?

they dont work , its that simple

a patched blade allows 9991 to access or add the c or n section lines

a standard blade has unpatched firmware , no 9991 menu and no c lines

a blade usually costs between ?120 and ?150 so ?300 is a lot for the extra c line

I would say that if you patched it you are likely to lose any lines in there , thats my opinion

dont think you can save a cfg file on the blade but you are welcome to try

you can definitely save the channel list to usb stick , just done that myself on mine

check in the system information to see what firmware its running

i think you can save the key and stb files under menu and utilites then data transfare to pen drive

are you being asked for any passwords when going into any menus?

i cant see how it can be running a line without the 9991 menu but then again someone might have found a way to hide it or lock you out of it
