I think you have messed up with wording the post.. What was your starting lon and lat? East or west? North or south..please make it clearer.. How many 7w transponders do you receive?

I know about tampering with the long at lat..you will find this out if you read my sticky on fine tuning a motorised dish.. But im just suprised that changing north to south gets you 7west. . Can you tell me the exact channels from 7west which you are getting a pictur from please..

to get a good signal from the uk, on amos at 4w you need a
1.2 mtr dish as for nilesat at 7w with a 1.2 mtr dish you will
only open the vertical chns and this depends on the weather
and time of day, [this from the north west of the uk], if you are more
south and east a dish of this size gets a bit better reception
from my possition to get all the chns on nilesat i need a 2.4 mtr dish
and from the south of the uk a 1.8 mtr dish is required
from the south of the uk a lot have signal problems with astra 3 @23.5e
it the old saying it's a bigger dish that makes for better signals not so
much the lnb, even though the lower the noise number the better
