Yeah - you can record 2 different TP's with an ET9000.

I have a setup one dish fixed 28east and another on a motorised setup. Can record from 2 sats. Watch one sat and record the other.

with a twin tuner box you can record a different channel on each tuner, they dont have to be on the same transponder or even the same satellite.

for example with my Duo i can record bbc1 on 28.2 east and another channel on 30 west at the same time, providing both tuners are setup properly.

This is a great function i was just curious how the 1 dish can point to the different sats not questioning just curious

Not possible without seperate dish or multi lnb.
You cannot receive a signal from another satellite whilst watching another on motorised set up.
