A bit of external waterproof silicon sealant will suffice.

And drill from the inside to outside if you can, then you wont run risk of knocking off a load of plaster & chunk of brick on inside wall, and also better able to avoid the risk of your drill hitting wires in the wall..

Use a plastic wall insert with silicon sealant and don't forget to have a small drip loop where the cable enters into the insert, make the cable lower than the hole, then bring it back up and through the hole in a u shape.

Drill inside, and drill slightly down and just use a silicone to seal it.

Just to add to the above posts...

Drill from inside to out - Check for sockets etc around where you are drilling.

Drill at a slighly downwards angle.

Make sure the cable goes below the hole and comes up in a U shape.

Use the plastic inserts with a bit of silicone.

When drilling let the drill do the work - don't force it through.
