    Installer from Dublin

Hi , if you can't find help local maybe I can talk you through it from here. Im up in Dublin.

You will need a sat finder. Set the polar mount in the mid position and use the sat finder to line the dish on 1west, that is how I line up the Ark to move though all sat positions. Also make sure the bracket the mount is on is straight.

You can use your receiver instead of a sat finder(meter) to find a Satellite, but do it slowley because it will not lock onto the signal as quick as a meter.

1west(thor) is were the sun is at 12:00pm

With a 1m motorised dish and a dm 500s you got a nice bit of kit,
have a really good look around the forum and ask a few questions if need be.
i bet u'll be up n running in no time

              Hi glic83

You should setup your dish at Atlantic Bird 2 @ 8.0w because thats your highest point on your arc.
              Dont tilt the Lnb.

look there is no need to argue either 1 of ye can come down to cork and set up the dish, so who wants to do it

Hope I didnt come across like that, but I hear Irish distributers giving the same info. You would think they would know better. Where in cork are you?
