    DiSEqc tuning more satellites in

I have a motorised dish with 7 or 8 satellites set up with DiSEqc. I'd like to tune in some more, can anyone recommend a satellite finder to use?

when the others were setup it was done using a sat finder with the graph so you could see the peaks. So, I can't just tune in the others as I don't know exactly where the dish is pointing if that explains it better.

On the original install did you have it setup for Usals or Diseqc 1.2, If Usals then you dont need a meter just search for the satellites in your receivers menu the same applies for Diseqc 1.2

Was originally set up with Diseqc, they were tuned in one by one. If I pick an unprogrammed sat and try to go to it, it says it's never been stored, so you have to do it manually.

basically yes , but it will vary from box to box so check the manual

the inbuilt sat meter is good enough to find channels , just choose a good transponder with fta channels on the sat you wish to find , that are exclusive to that sat , like zdf on 19e for instance , then when you find it , optimise it and store it

if the motor has already been aligned you dont need a sat meter as the box will do the work and show pictures with sound

ok thanks. Managed to find 23.5E, using that method so can probably pick up the ones near the satellites already programmed easily enough.
