I currently have sky and am thinking of getting 2 boxes so that i can record one channel while watching another.Maybe a technomate and openbox s11 will i be able to do this with my current setup.

Cheaper than getting a dual box dnt have a clue if i got a dual or greater lnb may even get 2 openboxes all i know i got sky hd and my sky box a dual as able to record diff channels while watching another.Sorry but i know nothing about satelliteComment

careful now.. sealion talk is frowned upon.. dm500, openbox, spider box, technomate 500, 600, 5402, 6900, 800hd, blade.. any two of these will do the job.. cheapest and most bang for buck.. dm500.. 2 set you back around ?100, cheapest hd, openbox.. 2 set you back around ?120-to ?140Fave replies from various threads

TBH, if all you want is to be able to record what you have, e.g. sky, then just buy a sky+ box. You'll get the full epg that sky kick out and have no problems setting recording options and the like.
If you take any other routes you'll have to think about how a technomate etc will be able to decode the signals form sky, while your normal sky box has your card in it.
