    Change of Router

Hi guys, need some advice. Changed my ISP yesterday from Sly to O2. I now have a o2 wirless IV. I have opened port 12000 and i can see it open. I have linked it to dyndns, all seems fine but some clients can not connect. Why do you think this is? They connect for a few mins and then disconnect.

Thanks mate, wish someone had told me this before. To be fair, the new Thomson Router they have sent, seems to work fine. The TP Link however won't work with it, which is a shame. Might have to get the plug n Play network adaptors instead of using the wireless range extender.

Also i've had issues with clients who seem to be connected to my server but then disconnect.

oK AFTER doing quite a bit of reading i have found that port forwarding on the o2 wireless IV can cause connection problems, however that is not the case for everyone. What you have to make sure is that the port you are forwarding is not being used by another device or client. That is not to say my problem is sorted unfortunately.

I called o2 CS and they have changed my wireless channel to 11 as a pose to 9. They say its a testing period where you will have to see which channel works best for you. Currently on 9, lets see how it goes.

Also i have not managed to diagnose the issue of the router just rebooting on it's own. it just disconnects on its own for a few seconds then connects again, this needs to stop for server reasons...any help welcome.
