What if you need to loosen or retighten the bolts in the future? I have got my 1m motorised dish on 12 foot scaffolding pole at the bottom of the garden. When I got home from work wife said nothing was working, checked the internet was fine then had a look in the garden and found the dish was pointing towards the ground. The last time I had aligned my dish I had made some marks on the components so I could easily re-align the dish in the future. The wife was quite pleased she got her tv back in minutes rather having to wait for ages for the dish to be re-aligned.

Loctite is not 100%, you wills till be able to undo.
If it has moved chances are loctite would have broke anyway.

i moved my dish back now and all is good im just wondering why the signals arent as strong as they were 13e im getting 85 -88 before i was getting 99 is there a chance that it moved the dish vertically ? im happy to leave it as its not a realy prob and i can still get all the sats i could get before just might fiddle to get it as it was before when i get time

you might not need to move it vertically anyway as even though you are getting a good stable signal it could still be a fraction out on azimuth and this is why you are loosing 10%sq. check the weak txp,s on the feed/turnaround sats and see what they are like aswell as the sats at the ends of the arc also. incredibly small ajustments can work wonders when ajusting a motorised dish. regards mdt
