Some help required

Hello Guys

My Sly HD sub has finished and do not want to renew i am looking for an alternative,
can someone advise me on a good alternative box to sly hd and also what tuts i would need to read up on to get going again.


Would a 24/7 internet required with any of the solutions? also my current sly card...is this deemed useless or does it play a vital role. any help appreciated,

I'm looking into dreambox setup using my current dish, would this be feasible? I want to connect to other sats.? what dreambox would be recommended for HD viewing? Is this still CS?

Fixed dish = only 1 sat unless using multi lnb then the sky dish is too small really.

To get your pay channels, yes, you need a active internet connection to the receiver.

Would a dream box 800hd be good start?

any box with an ethernet connection is a good start, linux being better than bespoke
